Job Description

Please note this position requires a minimum of 2 years experience with Kyocera copier repair and service.
​
Image 2000 is a nationally recognized distributor of multi-functional copiers and high-end production printers. We are the largest Kyocera dealer in the U.S. with Pros Elite status.
​
We are looking for a motivated hands-on Copier Service Technician with 1-2 years of copier or printer technician training and experience with Kyocera machines. This is a home based position with travel throughout San Diego. Company provides van and gas card.

Responsibilities
-
Accurately diagnose, repair and maintain multi-functional copiers at customer sites to ensure maximum first call effectiveness and customer satisfaction

Manage and maintain a highly accurate parts inventory via “Remote Tech” Mobile App
-
Receive, prioritize and accurately close service calls via Remote Tech” Mobile App
-
Assist with equipment installations as needed
-
Keep current with new technology through off-site manufacturer's classes and online training
-
Communicate escalated issues and solutions with team members and supervisor
-
Project a positive company image through proper attire, exceptional communication skills, ​​excellent customer service and personal grooming

Maintain benchmark standards for call backs, incompletes and accountable time
-
Availability at customer sites from 8am to 5pm (various sites in territory)

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years experience working on digital copiers and/or laser printers

A high school diploma or equivalent
-
Computer literate and basic knowledge of networking concepts

Electronic & mechanical experience/aptitude

Basic use of Multi Meter

Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record

Personal vehicle, in good working order with current registration

Able to work independently, under pressure at customer sites and to accept direction on given assignments
